Akatsuki Games Inc. (Head Office: Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan; CEO: Yuki Totsuka; wholly owned subsidiary of Akatsuki Inc.) is thrilled to announce that TRIBE NINE has released the latest update, Ver1.1.0, on Friday, April 18th, 2025.

This update is packed with content including the addition of Main Story Chapter 3 and the new playable character, Hinagiku Akiba.

 

 

◆ “Dead History Comes for Vengeance” in the hub of subculture, Neo Chiyoda City

Chapter 3 is set in the hub of subculture, Neo Chiyoda City—a city that has undergone reconstruction surrounding Akihabara after the former Chiyoda City was partially destroyed in the “Chiyoda Battle,” a conflict caused by the former royal Otori Family.

The story of Chapter 3 revolves around Q and his seemingly deep-rooted connection to this place.

New characters will also make an appearance, including the “Akiba Siblings” of the “Akiba Ninja Legion,” who formerly served the Otori Family. In this unfamiliar setting, our protagonist Yo Kuronaka and his companions face another death game.

▼About Neo Chiyoda City

Neo Chiyoda City is a subculture hub centered around Akihabara. Parts of the city float in the air, and in some areas you can also see anomalous sceneries.

After the Otori Family caused the “Chiyoda Battle” that partially destroyed the former Chiyoda City, its residents developed a deep antipathy toward the Otori Family.

In this city, the death game’s theme revolves around live streaming, forcing residents to constantly compete for views for each of their streams.

Despite residents cooperating with each other, the harsh rule remains: those who fail to meet their quotas face…inevitable death.

Unlike previous cities, the governing rules and the city’s ruler—#4, Magata Zenichi (CV: Shigeru Chiba) —are unusually welcoming. In this strange atmosphere, Yo Kuronaka and his companions must face a new battle while streaming their every move.

Keep an eye out for the city’s visuals, reminiscent of the streets of real-life Akihabara such as “Television Studio” and “Maid Avenue”!

 

◆ New Character ‘Hinagiku Akiba’ Joins the Event Synchro!

In the Ver1.1.0 update, Hinagiku Akib’ will make her debut as a ★3 Character in the limited-time Event Synchro: Maid for You.

Hinagiku Akiba’s most distinctive mechanic is her “Charged Attack,” which can be activated by pressing and holding her Primary Attack. This action boasts both offensive and defensive capabilities because if Hinagiku is attacked in this state by an enemy, a Deflect Counterattack is automatically triggered.

With her high Break capabilities, she’s a character who combines cuteness with ease of combat!

Furthermore, the Event Synchro: Tension Card “Lovely Impact” is now live, featuring the ★3 Tension Card “Professional Maid” based on Hinagiku Akiba.

The Tension Card “Professional Maid” boosts Primary Attack damage when the operating character lands a successful Deflect Counterattack.

This card is perfectly compatible with Hinagiku Akiba’s distinct ability to perform Deflect Counterattacks, maximizing her combat potential.

◆ Support Contract: Revenio, the new Support Contract season is here!

We’re excited to announce Revenio, the new season of Support Contract, is now live after the Ver1.1.0 update.

A new season begins for the “Support Contract,” which is TRIBE NINE’s battle pass feature.

By using paid Enigma Entities, players can upgrade Support Contract: Revenio to receive amazing rewards through the Armed Support. This includes exclusive skins for Q and Hinagiku Akiba, as well as the ★3 Tension Card “Cornerstone of Supremacy.”

It’s the year 20XX.

A mysterious masked man “Zero,” who controls Neo Tokyo, declared his intention to transform the country into “a country where everything is decided by games.” His invention, “Extreme Games” (or “XG” for short), is now the rule of Neo Tokyo.

However, the merciless rules of XG treat people’s lives like toys, plunging the citizens of Neo Tokyo into horrifying situations.

To rebel against Zero’s control, a group of teenagers have formed a resistance organization.
Armed with techniques and gear from their beloved “XB (Extreme Baseball),” they bravely engage in fierce battles alongside friends, overcoming any obstacles to reclaim their stolen dreams and freedom.

In TRIBE NINE, you’ll battle in a 3-man team.

Each playable character has their unique characteristics, which is reflected in their skills and actions, allowing you to experience various playstyles depending on the character.

Additionally, your team members will intelligently adapt to each situation and support you in battle. They can draw enemy aggression, heal your wounds, and coordinate powerful attacks with your controlled character to turn the tide of combat.

A variety of strategies can be employed depending on your team composition. We encourage you to experiment with different strategies to discover your own winning tactics!

In Neo Tokyo, a city filled with powerful enemies, you’ll face repeated defeats until you devise a strategy to seize victory. Don’t miss out on experiencing these exciting battles for yourself.

In TRIBE NINE, “XB (Extreme Baseball)” is one of the game’s biggest features and is a special battle mode that is very different from regular battles.

“XB” is the characters’ beloved dueling method, featured in high-impact 3D cutscenes. Get ready for these thrilling clashes between souls.

 

▶︎EXPLORATION

Progress through TRIBE NINE’s story by controlling your character and exploring Neo Tokyo’s 2D pixel-style overworld.

As you explore the city, you’ll encounter various events beyond just battles.

You can make all sorts of discoveries just by exploring the city, such as obtaining items from treasure chests hidden on the streets, clearing mini-games, and completing requests from the locals in each area.

 

▶︎CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

The game features a flexible character development system that highlights each character’s unique traits. You can create diverse builds by leveling up characters, assigning stats, and customizing equipment.

The flexible system allows you to create unique builds, such as training a healing-focused character to excel at attacking.

TRIBE NINE will keep expanding the main story and city through updates after its official release.
